POSITION TITLE: Lead Trainer
POSITION REPORTS TO: Manager of Learning and Development
PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Lead Trainer will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering high-quality training programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our employees. As the Lead Trainer, you will be responsible for creating engaging training content, implementing effective training methodologies, and leading a team of trainers to ensure consistent and exceptional training experiences for our workforce.
OVERTIME STATUS: Non-Exempt
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
· Conduct a comprehensive orientation for new hires, including training on company culture and values, strategies for working with students with behavioral challenges, additional training programs and workshops, and follow-up support.
· Assist in designing and implementing training programs including workshops, seminars, and online courses.
· Design and deliver training materials, including presentations, handouts, and assessments.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
· Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop programs to meet those needs.
· Manage the delivery of training programs, including scheduling and logistics.
· Maintain accurate records of employee training and development activities.
· Communicate effectively across departments to ensure a smooth workflow from hire to in-position.
· Continuously update training materials and methods to reflect industry best practices and emerging trends.
· Collaborate closely with HR, department managers, and cross-functional teams to align training initiatives with organizational goals and workforce development needs.

MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· At minimum 6 months to a year of working in a Point Quest classroom, either in Pediatric Therapies or Education, as a behavioral aide or lead aide.
· Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methods.
· Ability to input and analyze data and use it to make decisions and recommendations.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, Teams) and Google Suite (Drive, Calendar, Docs, Forms)
· Proven experience in training, with a minimum of a year in a leadership role.
· Strong instructional design skills.
· Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles.
· Leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing employee.
· Proficiency in using training technologies and tools.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
· Exceptional communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
· Willingness to travel to various sites and locations for training purposes.
· A passion for continuous learning and professional development.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes.
· Requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50lbs. or more.
· Must be able to see and hear within normal range with or without correction.
· Noise intensity level is moderate to high.
